Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Select and administer anesthesia techniques, medications, and adjunct drugs
- Review patient charts, perform assessments, and formulate anesthesia plans
- Perform intubation, extubation, invasive monitoring, and manage emergencies (including CPR)
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure patient safety and accurate documentation
Requirements
- Current Alabama RN license
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia
- NBCRNA certification (initial & recertification)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Competence with anesthesia equipment and pharmaceuticals
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
